Skillet's 'Collide' album licensed to Lava for mainstream distribution.
MEMPHIS Christian rock band Skillet will see their latest album 'Collide' distributed into the mainstream. The album will be released by Lava, a subsidiary of Atlanta Records, with Ardent Records (EMI CMG here) distributing into Christian retail. Skillet frontman John Cooper is more than ready. "We've been waiting for this for ages," says the bassist/singer who formed the group nearly a decade ago. "We always believed that this would happen at some point, but I have to say there were many times when I'd start to think, 'Okay, who knows if this is going to work?'"
