American rock band Skillet undergo personnel changes
AMERICAN rock band Skillet, who toured the UK early in 1999,
have gone through severe line up changes. Two founder members,
guitarist Ken Steorts and drummer Trey McClurkin, have left the band.
Steorts has just become a father for the second time and wants to come
off the road. He will continue to work with Skillet as part of their management team.
20-year old Kevin Holland, former guitarist with Reality Check, has
replaced Steorts and at press time, the band were auditioning drummers
with a female drummer tipped to replace McCurkin. The band's new album
Invincible' was written by remaining members, husband and wife team
John and Korey Cooper. Following the Electronica influences
incorporated into their last album, 'Hey You I Love Your Soul', the
new release is rumoured to be driving dance rock in style.
