Sixpence None The Richer hit with "Kiss Me"
AMERICAN Christian alternative pop team Sixpence None The Richer have amazed pop pundits by reaching number one in the US singles chart and going gold in the process. The song "Kiss Me" from their 'Sixpence None The Richer' album on Steve Taylor's Squint Entertainment label was recently barred from being eligible for a Dove Award because it has no discernable Christian content. At the time of going to press "Kiss Me" has been picked up by BBC Radio One's Simon Mayo as his featured single.
