Yolanda Adams, Commissioned back Bill Clinton.
US GOSPEL singers pinned their colours on Democratic candidate Bill Clinton during the US Presidential elections. Amongst the artists showing support for the Arkansas Governor was black gospel singer Yolanda Adams who sang at a major fundraising concert for the Clinton campaign. After the elections, Fred Hammond of gospel giants Commissioned told Cross Rhythms why the band all supported Clinton, a Baptist: "For the first time in years, we saw real hope in the faces of people. All over America people were talking about change and hope for the future - that is something that we have not seen for a long, long time.
