Gareth Davies-Jones ties up deal with Fair Trade Media.

NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE's PointOV music label Fair Trade Media have released an EP by acoustic singer/songwriter Gareth Davies-Jones. A share of the proceeds from the sale of 'Faith Folk + Fair Trade' will go to supporting the work of Tradecraft, the UK's leading fair trade organisation, and to the Latin American children's charity Casa Alianza, both charities that Gareth campaigns for. To encourage collaboration, Fair Trade Media distributes works under Creative Commons licences that provide original artists with a flexible and simple means to open their work to an expanded audience and to potential collaborators in the world. 'Faith Folk + Fair Trade' is licensed under the Creative Commons developing nations licence, which means the songs and recordings can be copied, distributed, displayed and performed free of charge in some of the poorest countries in the world providing credit is given to Gareth.
