Broeknrule Records takes over the administration of The Ultimate Showcase

THE UK Christian talent search The Ultimate Showcase which in the past was run as a joint venture between Ultimate Events and Halcyon Sounds has been taken over by Broeknrule Records and promises a complete revamp. The entry fee of past years is to be dropped and as well as a chance to play at Alton Towers every entrant will, in the words of Broeknrule's Mike Deal, "be given free tools to use to promote themselves, fans of the bands will also be able to use tools developed by the record label to spread the word about their favourite bands and everyone will earn reward points for doing so." An Ultimate Showcase website is going live in November but in the interim bands can register their interest by going to www.musicfinity.com. CR
