Deacon Blue frontman Ricky Ross releases solo album

THE FRONTMAN with Scottish mainstream hitmakers Deacon Blue, Ricky Ross has today
released the solo album 'Short Stories Vol 1'. The project features
Ross performing with just a piano along with strings, backing
vocalists and a choir. 'Short Stories' was recorded at Chameleon
Studios in Hamburg. Said Ross, "This album is like a souvenir of my
solo shows, which are a very different beast to Deacon Blue live.
They're intimate, minimal, a chance for me to revisit songs that
started out life with just piano and vocals and take them back to
their roots, as well as play some new songs inspired by recent times."
The project is released on CD and vinyl. Ricky is to undertake a
19-date UK and Ireland tour kicking off in Cheltenham on 9th November
and finishing in Belfast on 7th December.
