One time Prince drummer Sheila E back with new album

RENOWNED drummer Sheila E, best known for her work with Prince, has made a return to the scene with the release of her 'Icon' album. It has received favourable reviews, Record Collector writing, "12 years on from her last album, 'Heaven', the woman who made drumming a glamorous profession is back with her best album since her '80s heyday. Thankfully, there's no hint of smooth jazz. Rather, the music is a piquant marinade of Latin, pop, R&B and funk flavours.
