Vineyard Music release unique project to "seed the Church."

AN EIGHT-song CD 'New Songs From Vineyard UK' has been released by Vineyard Music. The CD has a very special genesis. Explained Vineyard Music's Chris Whitelock, "In late 2003 the Lord told us to back off doing any new song recordings. The soil had become exhausted and infertile. So, instead of trying to exploit it further, we were to replenish the soil - through training, through encouragement and through inspiring our songwriters in the heart and craft of songwriting for worship. So, with a leap of faith and against all economic sensibilities, we ceased production in 2004 and ploughed what we could back into the ground.

"'A new season of new songs will follow,' we felt the Lord say and after a time we had his permission to produce again. We are therefore delighted to offer what we believe to be the first fruits of that new season in the form of this eight-track EP containing seven brand new songs and one re-recording. We're giving it away to key worship leaders and churches because we want to seed the Church with these new songs."
