Kirk Franklin unable to get second album due to success of the first

THE GOSPEL phenomenon Kirk Franklin is still unable to get his second album released due to the ongoing phenomenal sales of the first. The release of Franklin's album 'What Cha Lookin' 4', recorded in May of '94 has been postponed three times in the US due to the huge sales of his debut 'Kirk Franklin And The Family' album which have now passed the million mark. With a Christmas album now planned it's doubtful if 'What Cha Lookin' 4' will be released before 1996. Said Franklin, who recently completed a 30 city tour, about his unprecedented gospel success, "It's God's season. We don't have a right for one second to think it's us. If it were for ability, someone better than I would be doing it."
