Esquire magazine give unexpected plug to CCM act Mark Schultz
CHRISTIAN music continues to garner mainstream attention in the US,
with Mark Schultz
recently nominated by Esquire magazine for "saddest song ever". Citing
the song "He's My Son" from Schultz's self-titled 2000 album, which
pictures a father asking God to spare a dying child, the publication
reckoned the singer "makes Harry Chapin sound like Raffi."
