BRITISH worship leader Matt Redman had his 'Facedown' album named Best Worship Project in America's Worship Leader magazine. Other winners in the Worship Leader's Praise Awards, voted for by church leaders using devotional songs and music in worship, were: Best Praise And Worship Song: Chris Tomlin, Ed Cash and Jesse Reeves for "How Great Is Our God" Best Compilation: Passion Worship Band Best Urban Or Gospel, CeCe Winans 'Throne Room' Best Scripture Song: "Create In Me" by Margaret Becker and David M Edwards Breakthrough Artist: Sarah Kelly.
Executive editor of Worship Leader magazine, Julie Reid said, "The winners of this year's Praise Awards are on the forefront of worship, creating excellent works of art that promote the intelligent use of music in the growth and development of Christian communities."
