The black gospel festival known as impact 2000 was poorly attended
ANOTHER poorly attended black gospel festival was Impact 2000: Playing In The Park in East London in August where despite a strong bill with Kele Le Roc, the Jordan Family, London Community Gospel Choir, Stitchie and Relevant signing TRUCE, only 500 people turned up. Blues & Soul magazine said, "An event like this could be a massive success if the churches of London really got together and promoted events through word of mouth, flyers and magazine previews." Amen to that. Cross Rhythms received no information whatsoever about the Impact event.
