Hard rockers P.O.D. sign with Columbia/INO
AMERICAN hard music band P.O.D. have signed with Columbia for the mainstream and INO for Christian retail. Read an announcement, "INO & Columbia Records announces a partnership with multi-platinum selling and critically acclaimed recording artist, P.O.D., fresh off the heels of their New Year's Eve performance in Times Square. This event marked guitarist Marcos Curiel's first performance with P.O.D. in nearly four years. Currently involved in pre-production, P.O.D. and are scheduled to release their new project late summer 2007 with the band's original formation of Sonny (lead vocals), Wuv (drums), Traa (bass), and the recent return of Marcos (guitar). Regarding this new partnership, INO President Jeff Moseley stated, 'I am thrilled to work with P.O.D. I have been a big fan of the band for a long time and think they are at a special place in their career. I anticipate a landmark record. I look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with the guys and their manager Tim Cook.'"
