Urban gospellers Out Of Eden call it a day, release greatest hits project
AFTER AN earlier announcement that Out Of Eden were taking a sabbatical, it has
now been announced that the R&B gospel group are to end their 13
year career. An album 'Out Of Eden The Hits', a 12-song collection
with one brand new song, will be released in the US by Gotee Records
on 1st August. Said the group's Lisa Kimmey, "This has been such an
incredible journey for the three of us. We have been blessed to work
with some of the most amazing people and to sing for an amazing
audience. I want to send my deepest thanks and gratitude to our Gotee
family, Chaffee Management, The William Morris Agency, and all the
numerous agencies, management teams, promoters, radio personnel and
website managers with whom we have had the pleasure of working."
What a shame. This group have been the most innovative, tuneful girl group for a very long time. I loved the hymns album and recommend it to anyone who hasn't bought it yet. They really bring these songs to life! God Bless them. I assume solo careers will follow.
