Sonflowerz duo challenged to write song in an hour; becomes new single

SISTER DUO Elissa and Becca Leander, better known as The Sonflowerz, have released a new download single via iTunes. The song "My Heart Is Alive" was written in a very unusual way. Explained Becca, "We were in Nashville recording an interview with a station that had flown in from Holland, and they challenged us to write a song in one hour from text messages that they had received live while on the air." Continued Elissa, "We really were inspired by one particular title that reminded me of how Christ coming into our lives is the beginning of something new, something that changes our whole lives, and it just makes us come alive. So we got into the back room and Becca and I put together the first version of our song 'My Heart Is Alive' and played it live for Holland."
