The Lost Dogs to record and film on Route 66 tour

VETERAN Americana group The Lost Dogs are to tour along the legendary Route 66, starting in Chicago and ending at the pier in Santa Monica, California. The tour will be recorded and filmed with the band playing impromptu concerts on street corners, at historical diners, hotel/motel sights, tourist attractions and campgrounds. The tour will end with a beach party at the Santa Monica pier, where the band will share new songs and clips from the road. CR

Today I got the album from this tour (Old angel) by mail. Its americana music at its best. Sounds like Hank Williams and Brian Wilson and Randy Newman were writing songs together about the backroads and the history of America.

Terry Scott Taylor is together with Larry Norman at the top of the list ao my all time favourite musicians. Maybe Crossrhythms could one day make an article or an interview with this great musician and Jesus music veteran.

Today (9/15) about noon, the dogs stopped at the Jesus House, in Bloomington to play some tunes. They were great, and a major blessing to all of us. We work with the homeless, mentally ill, addicts, prositutes etc. Check out our website. It is hard work, but the Holy Spirit is alive and well there. It is easy to worship the Lord there. The dogs played several of their song including my favorite Breath Deep...We will be praying for the dogs to touch the hearts of many as they touched our hearts...God Bless the Lost Dogs, and their families...Tom
