Oasis Awards postponed again, reset for autumn 2008
THE TROUBLED British gospel event, the Oasis Awards, originally slated for November 2007 as part of the Gospel Gathering event but subsequently postponed and then announced for March of this year, have been postponed again. Said Roney Henderson of o3 Media, the events company behind the Oasis Awards, "It is with regret that I inform you that the Oasis Awards originally set for 2007 has had to be postponed till later this year due to a lack of sponsorship and sponsor's change of heart. This was a surprise and meant that the show would suffer a severe loss. With this in mind it has been discussed and agreed by o3 events and their partners that the Oasis Awards will go ahead a little later than schedule, autumn 2008."
