BRITISH Christian music's most significant music movement since the
60s - the rapid growth in popularity of acoustic-based folk-tinged
music - continues to gather momentum. Kingsway's Acoustic Revolution
label is launched in February with the release of the debut album by
Nuffsed. The
Midlands-based team will be introducing their album "Fields Keep
Calling' by undertaking a year long Cover To Cover tour with in-store
appearances in Christian book shops as far away as Birmingham, London
and Plymouth. Said Nuffsed lead singer Terry Mills, "We will be
playing free mini-concerts, usually on Saturday lunchtimes. The Cover
To Cover tour will spread out over a 12-month period as we have to fit
our appearances around existing concert, mission and festival gigs."
