Jamie Rowe declines offer to join Rott in search of solo career

AMERICAN rock vocalist Jamie Rowe, who for many years fronted Christian rock band Guardian before they disbanded last year, surprised industry observers by turning down the chance to join popular mainstream rock/metal band Ratt. After passing an audition he subsequently withdrew, explaining that though "it was a good match musically, my personal outspoken Christianity just would not fit into the band situation." Jamie is now talking with several Christian labels about his solo debut while Guardian is set to release a best of/live CD.
