Steph Macleod, Yvonne Lyon, Emily Smith on folk hymns album

AN ALBUM of Celtic-orientated hymns featuring some of Scotland's top Christian folk artists has been released. 'New Scottish Hymns' features Steph Macleod, Ellyn Oliver, Emily Smith and Yvonne Lyon. Said songwriter Greg de Blieck, "Our aim with the project was to rediscover the principles of folk-hymnwriting: strong, memorable melodies and engaging lyrics. We wanted use it to help unite younger and older generations of Christians with a worship language that was accessible and attractive to both." CR
