Word Entertainment announce Mark Bright to run company

RECORD producer and music publishing executive Mark Bright has been named President and CEO of American Christian record company Word Entertainment. Bright will oversee Word Entertainment's entire operation, including the label group, publishing, distribution and church resource divisions and will be based at Word's Nashville headquarters. He replaces Jim Van Hook, who has retired after more than 30 years in the Christian music industry. A veteran record producer, Bright has worked with several multi-platinum country artists including Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans, Billy Ray Cyrus, Mark Schultz and newcomer Whitney Duncan. CR
