Christian album and single sales continue to increase
IN AMERICA, for the first six months of 1999, Christian album and single sales increased 21 per cent over the same period for 1998, reports the Gospel Music Association. Some 871 CCM and gospel albums accounted for 20,562,000 unit sales as compared to 924 titles selling 16,950,000 in the first half of last year. 20 albums in the Top 100 sold more than 100,000 units, an increase of five titles.
