New Pivitplex album hailed as a classic in the US
THE LATEST album by American band Pivitplex is receiving rave reviews in the States. 'The King In The Rookery' on Hawley Records was produced by Grammy Award winning Jason Burkum (Audio Adrenaline) and is described as "alternative pop, combining vintage rock sonics, refreshing melodic harmonies and deep, insightful lyrics." CCM magazine describe the album as "an unbelievable, alternative, power-pop masterpiece" going on to say "Pivitplex has delivered its answer to 'Sgt Pepper' and 'Pet Sounds'."
Said the band's vocalist Scott Brownson, "Constant touring and three years of trials and joys fuelled the content of the new songs. Being away from family, the sudden death of my brother-in-law, my daughter's recovery from a coma - I have had some joyous highs and sad lows."
