Congolese child choir Les Troubadours Du Roi Baudouin classic album re-issued
THE CONGOLESE child choir Les Troubadours Du Roi Baudouin's 1958 recording of the Catholic mass 'Missa Luba' has been re-issued by EL Records. The album became an international hit when released by Philips in the '60s and was subsequently used extensively in the feature film If. . .. The re-issue has been described by Mojo magazine as being "oddly augmented by two more disks of dubiously provenanced, film-related classical music such as Mahler's 'Adagietto' from Death In Venice."
