Michael English cancels concerts on doctor's orders
AMERICAN pop gospel singer Michael English, who in April was awarded,
for the second consecutive year, the Male Singer Of The Year Award at
the GMA Awards in Nashville, has had major medical problems with his
vocal chords. Many appearances had to be cancelled while he rested his
voice on doctor's orders. He recently told a US reporter "I went to
the doctor and he said to keep up what I'm doing and (my vocal chords
are) going to get better." English continued, "I don't know if this is
God saying 'I'm allowing this to happen just to slow you down for a
bit!' I'm not going to question. I trust God."
