Rock band Hope Springs Eternal has six months of live recordings stolen
A ROBBERY resulting in the loss of six months' of 'live' master tapes
is the bizarre background behind the release of a new 'In Concert'
album by rock band Hope
Springs Eternal. The Middlesborough based group stored up six
months' recordings with a view to putting together a live album.
However, a robbery at a Cleveland studio left the band with only one
remaining master; their performance at Greenbelt Festival 91. Band
manager, Rob O'Connor, said: "The material that survived will be
packaged and made available to those on the Hope Springs Eternal mailing list in the
near future."
