Drummer Marvin McQuitty dies in Houston aged 46

ONE OF Christian music's most popular drummers died in Houston, Texas on 11th September. McQuitty played and recorded with a vast variety of artists including Fred Hammond, the Clark Sisters, CeCe Winans, Israel Houghton & New Breed, Kirk Franklin as well as pop acts like Jessica Simpson and Stevie Wonder. A memorial service for McQuitty was held at Grace Church of Humble, Houston. CR
