Dave Bainbridge's Celestial Fire set to release live DVD/2CD package

OPEN SKY Records are set to release the first album by Celestial Fire, the group fronted by Dave Bainbridge. Read a press release, "As many of you will already know, at the end of last year, after 27 years, Iona made the decision to stop touring and recording together for the foreseeable future. Whilst this marks the end of an era, the band members are involved in various music projects and we will continue to keep you informed of them as we receive news. Meanwhile, the latest release on Open Sky, Celestial Fire's 'Live In The UK', will be available at the beginning of April." The DVD/2CD package features Dave on guitars, keys and bouzouki, Frank van Essen (drums, violin, vocal), Sally Minnear (lead vocals, guitar, percussion), Dave Brons (guitars, mandolin, vocal) and Simon Fitzpatrick (basses, Chapman stick, Moog). It includes material from the Iona catalogue, Dave's solo albums and more, plus (on the DVD), additional studio rehearsal footage and a movie gallery.
