Indiana's The Protest to release album in July
THE ALBUM debut by New Castle, Indiana-based hard rockers The Protest, 'Legacy', will be released on 13th July. It was produced by Matt Arcaini (Disciple, Veridia) and issued on the label RockFest Records, run by Seventh Day Slumber's frontman, Joseph Rojas. The single "What Else You Got" is already getting play on US mainstream radio. Talking about the theme of the album, The Protest's guitarist Adam Sadler said, "What kind of legacy do we want to leave behind-ours or God's? I want people to know we love Jesus and I hope our music will impact them for his glory. Our band's life verse is 1 Peter 4:10: 'Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms' (NIV). We live in a broken world and people need Jesus. We want them to get to know him through us and through our music. That's what we pray and hope for every day."
