P.O.D. lead singer gets unusual following for backward naming

BRITAIN'S broadsheet newspaper The Times have reported on American hard rockers P.O.D.'s lead singer Sonny Sandoval. Some years ago the lead singer appeared on MTV announcing the name of his new daughter Nevaeh (heaven spelt backwards). Since his appearance, the name (pronounced na-vay-uh) has become increasingly popular in the USA. In 2001, it became America's most popular new name and is the country's 70th most popular name at the moment. According to Cleveland Evens, President of the American Name Society, the name is popular amongst young, working class parents, African Americans and other races.

Does this mean that parents of girls called Natasha are thinking of the devil (Ah, Satan)?
