Juan Luis Guerra enjoys major hit with his 'Para Ti' Christian album.

MAINSTREAM Latin music star Juan Luis Guerra is currently enjoying the highest ever debut (number two) for a Christian album on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart. Guerra's 'Para Ti' is the star's first all Christian album. The project, released by Vene Music and distributed by Universal, is a mix of praise and worship and gospel with rhythms ranging from salsa, bachata and merengue, the latter style for which Guerra is famous. Guerra told Billboard magazine, "I'm the same musician, but I am a different person because I accepted the Lord. I am not called to preach in churches. I'm called to speak about the Lord in secular concerts." CR
