Dreamgirls star Jennifer Holiday moves into gospel music

ONE OF the most highly regarded singers in R&B Jennifer Holliday has announced her intention to sing gospel and will be headlining in a London gospel concert in August. Jennifer signed with US label Intersound Christian Music and has recorded her debut gospel album 'I've Got Something'.

Previously Jennifer starred in the Broadway production of 'Dreamgirls' and has recorded hit albums for Arista and Geffen. Jennifer's debut UK gospel concert will be at the Hammersmith Apollo Theatre on 30th August. Also on the bill are hot new American gospel group Anointed and several British acts featured on the soon to be released British gospel album 'Soul Stirrings'.
