In Manchester a new magazine called Jam Magazine has been launched
THE FIRST British Christian publication targeted at young people since the demise of Soul Survivor magazine has been launched. Jam Magazine, with offices at Manchester, is a colour glossy publication featuring articles on fashion, music and skateboarding written in a racy style with high quality design. Said co-editor Gemma Warrington, "Jam really bridges the gap between Christian and non-Christian publications. It has the immediacy and subject matter to appeal to young Christians, both male and female, but also has appeal to a non-Christian readership." Co-editor Suzi Steward added, "The response so far to Jam has been very encouraging and subscriptions are coming in every day. There is a need for a magazine like this and we think Jam meets that need."
