Pat Boone and Take 6 to record album of Ink Spots oldies
VETERAN pop artist Pat
Boone, who this year celebrates over 50 years in music, is set to
release a new album with renowned acapella group Take 6. 'Pat Boone Sings A
Tribute To The Ink Spots Ftg Take 6' will be released on the Gold
Label on 1st May. Said Boone, "Growing up in Nashville, I was a
longtime fan of the Ink Spots and even sang many of their hits on
local radio. But my respect for them grew through the years as I
learned how tough it is to get your foot in the door musically. These
guys crossed over into pop and stayed popular for decades." Boone and
Take 6 will be performing versions of such Ink Spots oldies as "Do I
Worry", "You Always Hurt The One You Love" and "Cow Cow Boogie".
