New Zealand's electro hip-hop team Rapture Ruckus release single, ready EP

THE ELECTRO, hip-hop and rock band from New Zealand, Rapture Ruckus, are
getting airplay for their single "Proof Of Life" prior to the release
of their new EP 'Ignition', set to be issued on 15th January. Said the
band's lead singer Brad Dring, "After meeting [science fiction author
William Hawk] about a year ago, he shared how our record 'Invader Vol
2' had inspired him in the writing of this book series he was working
on and wanted to know if we'd be open to writing some music to go with
the book. After reading the story we felt it was something we needed
and wanted to do. We love this first single 'Proof Of Life' so much
because it's so relevant to the culture right here, right now. There
is so much information being thrown at people online, followed by
opinions, shallow relationships, leaving people feeling disconnected,
lonely, depressed and numb, searching for something to make them feel
alive. We love how all the songs on this project are inspired by a
story and how its characters are highly placed in real life and
personal experience. It was an incredible experience getting to create
Rapture Ruckus music
from a different perspective."
