Christian hospital radio celebrates 25th anniversary in October

CHRISTIAN Hospital Radio celebrates its 25th anniversary on 14th October. To commemorate the fact CHR are organising an open day at their studio in Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells while in the evening there will be a celebration service at the Calvary Church, Tunbridge Wells. Sandi Richard Read, programme controller of CHR, said, "It was in October 1970 that one simply recorded radio programme for airing in a local hospital provided the foundation for what has now become an international ministry."
Speaker for the church celebration is former International Director of Transworld Radio David Adams while music is being provided by Jenny and Alex Legg. CR
