Jon & Valerie Guerra record 'It's Almost Christmas' set

CHICAGO-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jon Guerra is releasing a Christmas project with his wife Valerie. 'It's Almost Christmas' by Jon & Valerie Guerra will be released on Sony's Descendent Records. The couple sing such evergreens as "Winter Wonderland", "The Little Drummer Boy" and "Edelweiss". The couple will be opening for Amy Grant and Vince Gill's Christmas concerts at the Ryman Theater in Nashville this December. Speaking about the album Valerie said, "The project took on a life of its own, and it's literally been me, Jon and a couple of close friends - no session players or producers - which adds to the sentimental, homespun feeling."
