Andrew Peterson cuts album on the theme of Heaven.

MUSICAL storyteller Andrew Peterson has a new album, 'The Far Country', released in the States on 30th August by Fervent Records. The project examines the subject of Heaven and was co-produced by Peterson and bandmate Ben Shive with help from Andrew Osenga (Caedmon's Call). Like his previous albums, the new project includes hammered dulcimer, bouzouki, piano, mandolin and acoustic guitar. Featured on the project is popular vocalist Jill Phillips, bassist Danny O'Lannerghty (Rich Mullins's 'Liturgy'/'Legacy'), percussionist Ken Lewis (Michael Card) and bluegrass fiddler Stuart Duncan (Emmylou Harris). Motown gospel singers Anklejelly Jones and Jimmy Hoyt-Washington are also featured on the album.
