Gloria Gaither, Billy Ray Hearn honoured in American ceremony
SOUTHERN gospel composer Gloria Gaither and record producer and
executive Billy Ray Hearn were recently named the newest inductees
into America's Gospel Music Hall Of Fame. Hearn launched first the
Myrrh label for Word before founding Sparrow Records in 1976. Gaither
has written lyrics for more than 600 songs, 20 of which were Dove
Award winners including "Because He Lives" and "The King Is Coming".
