New Jersey's El McMeen picks up instrumental award

CRITICALLY acclaimed guitarist El McMeen has won first prize in the instrumental category of IAMA's 2009-10 international music competition. The Sparta, New Jersey-based musician won the award with his original guitar instrumental "Le Mans". Three of McMeen's compositions were among the finalists in the competition. "Le Mans" is featured on McMeen's 'Breakout' album. McMeen latest project is the 'At-Home Picking... And Talking' album. CR
