New album and tour for Deacon Blue

THE NEW album by Scottish mainstream hitmakers Deacon Blue 'The Great Western Road' is being released on 21st March through Cooking Vinyl. The 12-track album is being issued on vinyl, CD and cassette, although the cassette is an exclusive on the official Deacon Blue shop while the vinyl will be available in a number of coloured pressings.

In March 2025, the band head out an exclusive run of five theatre shows around the album release. Later in the year, they hit the road again with 15 arena shows across the UK and Ireland, including their first date at Wembley Arena since 1990, and finishing with two hometown shows at the Glasgow Hydro. Talking about the album lead singer Ricky Ross said, "It's just the next part of the adventure and it's as exciting now as it was back in 1988."
