Musically the songs benefit from a restrained, stripped down feel that have enough to make the songs work, while giving them space to breathe.
For me the stand out song is: ‘All I want to do’ vocals are enhanced by a tender violin accompaniment. The lyrics are considered and reflect a mind nourished by scripture and a heart set free by God’s grace. This is especially the case in the sixth track, for which there are no lyrics in the sleeve notes. It is a simple confession of faith in a gracious God!
