Empire Nation to release second album 'Closer' in the spring

THE EAGERLY anticipated second album by British pop rockers Empire Nation will be released this spring. The project 'Closer' includes a collaboration with Philippa Hanna and is being produced by Andy Baker of Resound Media. A video for the project's first single, "Fire Fall Down", directed by award-winning Carl Shanahan, will be distributed shortly. Said the band's frontman Ed Bird, ""We're getting really excited about releasing 'Closer'. "We've been working with some great co-writers and producers. Fans will have heard tasters on our tour last year so we're looking forward to finishing it for them. This album is all about getting real with life and closer with God. We had a lot of fun filming the video for 'Fire Fall Down'. I won't give away too much now, but let's just say the video involved skateboarders, all kinds of dancers and lots of sparks!"
