Gen explores possibilities of recording their debut album in the USA

BRITISH hard rock band Gen are currently having talks with an American record producer about the possibility of recording their debut album in the USA in the first half of 2003. The band came to prominence last year when, after entering the prestigious European talent hunt Emergenza, sponsored by Columbia Records (Germany), the band became first Birmingham Region winners and then, at the national final held at the Mean Fiddler in London, UK national champions, subsequently performing in Germany where they achieved the position of 13th best unsigned band in Europe.
