13th best unsigned band in Europe, Gen record their first full length album in USA
BRITISH hard rock band Gen flew to Indiana, USA, on February 9th to record their first full length album. The project was produced and engineered by Tim Bushong (Lovewar, Channell Surfers) in his own recording studio. The album recording has been arranged through the bands management company, Meltdown Music, and the album will be available later in the year on the Meltdown label. Gen came to prominence last year when, after entering the prestigious European talent hunt Emergenza, sponsored by Columbia Records (Germany), the band became first Birmingham Region winners and then, at the national final held at the Mean Fiddler in London, UK national champions, subsequently performing in Germany where they achieved the position of 13th best unsigned band in Europe.
