Midlands hard rockers Gen call it a day.

AFTER SEVEN years of numerous lineup changes, Midlands hard rock band Gen have decided to call it a day. Said founder and lead guitarist Rich Styles, "We have tried to put together a line up that would get the message of salvation out to the people who desperately needed to hear it in the clubs and pubs of Birmingham and wider area. It has been an amazing journey, sometimes fantastic, sometimes very hard, other times miraculous, but always for God and what he wanted to do with us. We would like to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers over the years we were together. We now have a tribute to old band members on www.lostgen.com."

After winning a national Battle Of The Bands contest at the London Astoria and participating in a European final in Germany, Gen recorded their critically acclaimed album 'Rite Of Refusal' (2003) in the USA with producer Tim Bushong.
