Poor sales for 'The Life Of Chris Gaines' by Garth Brooks
THE ALBUM 'The Life Of Chris Gaines', featuring songs nearly all written by Christian composers Wayne Kirkpatrick, Gordon Kennedy and Tommy Sims, has been a major American flop for country superstar Garth Brooks. After selling only 700,000 of the 2.8 million albums shipped to retailers, industry pundits are blaming Brooks' image change of wig and make up, and story-of-a-rock-star concept for its relative failure.
