Gospel and R&B man Gabriel S Hardeman dies in Philadelphia
68 YEAR OLD singer, songwriter and group leader Gabriel S Hardeman died on 16th June in Philadelphia from complications of interstitial fibrosis. Hardeman fronted the successful group the Delegation, whose 1983 album 'Feels Like Fire' won a Grammy nominations. Hardeman subsequently wrote R&B hits for Stephanie Mills, Teddy Pendergrass and several others. A full article on Hardeman's life and music will be published shortly by Cross Rhythms.
