Classic Rock magazine details Vince Gill joining The Eagles

THE DECEMBER issue of Classic Rock magazine ran a nine page cover
story on the Eagles whose album 'Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975'
remains as the biggest selling album in US chart history having sold
38 million copies. The article tells how the Eagles were thought to
have retired after the death in 2016 of Glenn Frey but are now in the
middle of another successful stadium tour with a new lineup which
features Frey's son Deacon and Christian country star Vince Gill. There are
no plans to continue the Eagles tour beyond the summer of 2019. Gill
was asked whether he would continue with the group if asked. He
responded, "Any time I would have the opportunity to stand up with
these guys, sing these songs and plays these songs, as long as they
wanted me I'm in."
